Snowglobe Life?
Snowglobes are an interesting thing. One second they can be chaotic with all the snow flying around and then the next thing you know, it settles and you can see the beauty that was hidden just moments before. This is the theme of my life. Right now my life feels totally choatic and I cannot see anything among the snow. I have no clue what lies beneath and do not have the slightest clue what it is going to end up looking like. Despite this, I know that it will be beautiful.
As Jeremiah 29:11 says, ” ‘For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’ “.
Another wonderful thing about snowglobes is that every snowglobe has to be shaken by someone. My snowglobe life (like everyone’s) is being shaken by God. Right now I’m waiting for it to settle but it’s definitely on God’s time and in His way.
So this is my snowglobe life. Let’s see what it looks like as it begins to settle…or maybe as it gets shaken up some more?
